Not only do we get agreement from Trading Standards on every business membership, we also perform, identity checks, credit checks, bankruptcy checks, get proof that public liability is in force and get proof that the professional has the licenses necessary to trade in their particular field. We also ensure that each business has trading experience of at least 12 months and we write to their current customers for references. You really are in safe hands!
For the consumer it certainly is. We fund our website by charging the local businesses a small fee every time we get them a job. It really is that simple. We believe that the customer is already about to pay enough money to the professional for their job, so we doubt they'll want to pay more to register for our site.

These days there are an increasing amount of customers looking for squeaky clean business professionals, and if you're not one of them then you could lose business.
No, sadly you cannot. However, when you have been trading for 12 months or more please do come back and talk to us, we'll be very pleased to have you if you can pass all our checks.
There is an annual fee of £149 (+vat) and this covers all the checks we will have to perform and includes your registration fee. If your business is unsuccessful you will be refunded all monies you have paid and there will be no further charges.
No. If you don't want a lead because you may be to busy or on holiday just ignore the text alert and you won't be charged anything. We will never rip you off. We understand that keeping our members happy is a priority. We like to see it as a partnership between you our member, consumers, Trading Standards and ourselves.
